Leila tests streaming apps the slow way: she actually watches them. A review unit stays installed for days, through morning news, an evening match, background radio, and a late night channel hunt, on more than one phone, because the faults that matter only appear in real use: a favourites list that forgets, a globe that stutters on a budget phone, a stream that dies at the same point every night.
Her checks for a live TV app are fixed. The install file is compared against its listing, the permission list is read in full, the country and category lists are sampled across regions, search is timed against long lists, radio runs in the background for hours, and playback is tested on a slow connection as well as a fast one. Scores and claims in her guides come from those sessions, not from a store description.
When she is not testing, Leila keeps a personal Famelack favourites list that leans heavily on world news, football, and one very calm harbour webcam.
